Fox Meadows Creamery is located in the heart of Amish Country, Ephrata, PA. The owners believe in a totally natural approach to their “Cow to Cone” philosophy. The less ingredients in their delicious ice cream and food, the better. When you pull up, you’ll notice a beautiful wrap around porch, and the farm right next door. You can’t get any more fresh than that. When you enter, the smell of freshly made waffle cones hits your nose, and puts your brain into ice cream mode. But, ice cream alone isn’t why Fox Meadows is famous. The fame comes from something called a “Baked Fox.” A Baked Fox is brownie or chocolate chip cookie pressed around ice cream, then cooked. When you cut into a Baked Fox the ice cream oozes out and is very satisfying. Not to mention yummy.
Fox Meadows offers a variety of ice cream flavors to take out onto the porch and enjoy or to take home. They also have a small artisan shopping area full of products to peruse while you wait to order. Believe us, it’s worth the wait! There’s something else that draws in customers.
